In Memory

Paul Leblanc

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Paul at home on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the age of 85. He is at peace, reunited with his beloved wife Shirley. Father of Paul Jr. and his wife Maria; Denise and her husband Mark Leonard; Marc and his wife Karrie. Much loved and loving Grandpa to Craig and Cameron Leonard; Nicole, Christian, Paige and Jessica. He is predeceased by his daughter Michelle, his sisters Maria (Elisée) and Augusta (Edward). His siblings Laure, Louis (Maria) and Jean Charles (Cecilia), along with many nieces and nephews were important family to him. Paul was born in Moncton N.B., and moved to Newfoundland to meet and marry the love of his life Shirley. They settled in Brantford where Paul worked and retired after 42 years at Agnew Group Shoes. Paul loved footwear, music, choir, gardening, travel, golf, Miatas, history and friendships. He enjoyed being a part of the Brant Men of Song, the church choir, PROBUS, the Two Ten Foundation, the BK Club and especially the Wheels of Hope for cancer patients. Paul was very grateful for the care he received at the BGH and Juravinski Cancer Centre, especially from Drs. Benger, Mian and Kouroukis and nurse Wendy Bursey. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Seasons Retirement for their kindness. We will miss him immensely, his warm smile never to be forgotten. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Paul are asked to please consider the Wheels of Hope or Myeloma Canada.
